Terms
Clear plans,
clear details.
These terms explain how Piravora plans and confirms private journeys in Egypt. Your written proposal and booking confirmation will identify the services and trip-specific supplier conditions that apply.
1. Inquiries, proposals and booking confirmation
An inquiry is a request for information or a customized proposal; it is not a confirmed booking. It does not reserve a guide, vehicle, room, cruise, flight, attraction ticket or other service.
A booking is confirmed only after Piravora sends written confirmation identifying the agreed itinerary, services, price, payment schedule and applicable supplier terms, and any stated initial payment has been received. Please review those details and tell us about errors before accepting the proposal.
2. Deposit and final payment
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining 70% balance is due one month before your arrival or tour start date, as stated in your booking confirmation. No payment is due merely because you sent an inquiry.
Supplier prices and availability can change until the relevant services are confirmed. Your written proposal will show the itinerary, price, included services, payment schedule and any important supplier conditions before you decide to book.
3. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel more than one month before the tour start date, amounts paid are refundable, minus bank, transfer, payment-processing or other transaction fees that cannot be recovered.
If you cancel within one month of the tour start date, Piravora will still refund amounts that have not already become non-refundable. The booking does not automatically become entirely non-refundable when the one-month point is reached.
If a hotel, domestic flight, cruise, attraction ticket, transport service or other third-party service has already been booked or paid for, the refundable amount for that service depends on the supplier’s cancellation and refund policy. Piravora will refund any recoverable balance after deducting non-refundable supplier charges and applicable non-recoverable transfer or payment fees, and will explain the calculation.
To cancel, contact Piravora as soon as possible at info@piravora.com and include your booking reference and the services you want to cancel.
4. Changes requested by you
Guest-requested changes are subject to availability. We will check with relevant suppliers and confirm the change in writing before updating your itinerary. Any additional cost or non-refundable supplier charge caused by the change may be passed on to you. Piravora does not charge a separate change fee.
5. Changes by Piravora
We aim to deliver the confirmed itinerary. A site, activity, route or timing may need to change because of closures, weather, safety or security advice, government restrictions, transport disruption, supplier availability or other operational circumstances. We will tell you as soon as reasonably possible, explain the reason, and discuss a suitable alternative. Any material price change or significant replacement will be presented for your agreement before it is confirmed, except where an immediate adjustment is reasonably needed for safety or access.
If an agreed alternative cannot be arranged, Piravora will explain the available options and any supplier refund or credit that applies to the affected service.
6. Third-party suppliers
Hotels, airlines, cruise operators, transport providers, guides, restaurants and attractions may be operated by independent suppliers. Their availability, operating rules, schedules and cancellation conditions can apply to the services they provide. The proposal will identify the relevant inclusions and, where available, important supplier conditions before booking. We will communicate supplier changes we learn about and help coordinate the itinerary.
7. Passports, visas and travel insurance
Travelers are responsible for holding valid travel documents and checking the entry requirements that apply to their nationality, route and travel dates. Requirements can change; check current official government guidance and the relevant embassy or consulate before departure. Tell us promptly if a document or entry issue may affect the trip.
We recommend arranging suitable travel insurance before travel, including cover appropriate to your health, planned activities, trip cancellation or interruption, and emergency assistance. Review the policy terms directly with the insurer; Piravora does not provide insurance.
8. Circumstances outside reasonable control
Severe weather, natural events, public-health measures, government action, security restrictions, strikes, transport disruption, site closures or other circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect a journey. We will make reasonable efforts to share reliable updates and discuss safe, practical alternatives. Any supplier cancellation rights, credits, refunds or additional costs will depend on the affected service and will be explained to you.
9. Care, responsibility and limitations
We take care when preparing itineraries and coordinating the services described in your confirmed booking. You are responsible for sharing accurate traveler information, following reasonable safety instructions and checking that the proposed pace and activities suit your group. Site access and conditions can change, and no itinerary can guarantee entry to a particular attraction or the operation of an independent supplier.
Nothing in these terms removes any consumer right or liability that applicable law does not allow a business to exclude or limit. Final responsibility wording will be reviewed against the law that applies to the confirmed contracting business.
LEGAL APPROVAL BEFORE PUBLICATION: confirm Piravora's contracting legal entity and business address, governing law and dispute forum, and obtain legal review of liability wording.
