Connect the pyramid landscape with selected museum objects. Optional Great Pyramid entry changes the time available for galleries. Keep the museum focus deliberate and pause between the two visits.

Part 02Day 2 / Saqqara and Dahshur

Are three days enough?
Three private touring days make a strong archaeology-focused introduction without compressing every site into one day.
Can we change day three?
Yes. It can focus on museums, Coptic Cairo, Islamic Cairo, food, shopping or further archaeology.
Is a hotel included?
Not by default. We can add one after dates and preferences are clear.
The details that change a day
Plan it properly.
Pickup, drop-off and transportation
Private road transfers connect your agreed Cairo or Giza hotel with the sites. Cairo traffic matters: share your exact hotel, not just “Cairo.” Airport pickups and hotels outside the agreed area must be quoted separately. Pickup time, meeting point and return location are confirmed in writing.
Your guide and your group
The touring party is your own group. Archaeological visits are planned with a private Egyptologist; nature and desert segments may use specialist local guides and drivers. Specify your preferred language and any specialist interests when asking for a proposal.
Entrance tickets and optional access
Core admissions are listed above. Optional interior, premium or special-access tickets are separate unless expressly added. A general site ticket should not be assumed to include every interior. Openings and visitor rules are checked for your dates.
Walking and accessibility
Giza and Saqqara have exposed, uneven ground. Pyramid interiors add steep, confined passages and can be skipped. Museum-focused days can be gentler, but still involve substantial standing. Historic Cairo adds curbs, thresholds and narrow streets. Tell us about a wheelchair, walking aid or step limit so we can check specific sites and vehicles rather than promise universal access.
What to wear and bring
Wear comfortable shoes with grip and lightweight clothing suited to the forecast. Bring sun protection, drinking water, a charged phone and a small day bag. Religious-site visits call for modest clothing and may require removing shoes. For an overnight desert route, confirm layers, bedding and personal essentials with the camp team.
Timing and season
Choose the cooler part of the day for outdoor sites; keep museum time or a proper break for the warmer hours. Cooler months often make long outdoor days more comfortable. Confirm the actual forecast and any seasonal schedule changes.
Children and families
Tell us the children’s ages. We can shorten explanations, limit museum themes and protect break time. An interior pyramid climb should be a choice, not a requirement for the family.
